Join us in a celebration of eight years rowing on Lake Sunapee. Our guest speaker will be cardiologist Dr. Andrew Torkelson, MD. A dynamic speaker and physician at New London Hospital, Dr. Torkelson will talk about the health benefits of following the Mediterranean Diet Plan. When you arrive you’ll have time to chat with friends, perhaps enjoy a glass of wine and sample a variety hors d’oeuvres. There will be a number of items for you to bid on in the silent auction.
What’s in the auction? Time spent at a summer cottage, gourmet breakfasts and dinners (including our famous Valentines and Harvest Dinners), items from local merchants and sculling lessons to name a few.
We are a 501(c)(3) organization and this is our major fundraiser of the year. The proceeds will help support our adaptive rowing program and scholarships for rowing programs.
Dinner will be a gourmet Mediterranean Diet-inspired meal created by the LSRC Board under the guidance of our two professionally trained chefs. Desserts made by our renowned pastry chefs will be a sweet end to the meal.
The cost of the evening is just $20 per person. Reservations are required.
